The Brazilian Commission of UFO Researchers [Comissão Brasileira de Ufólogos (CBU)], through the endeavor of Brazilian UFO Magazine, is leading off a campaign on behalf of a fair cause that has long been the ambition of the members of the Brazilian Community of UFO investigators: UFOs, Freedom of Information Now. Its purpose is to organize and to centralize the isolated claims by many UFO researchers and UFO study groups, so far without a central coordination. And its goal is to show to our authorities that the UFO phenomenon concerns the entire population.

     Through this campaign, formally started on April 15th, we intend to collect the signatures of thousands of enthusiasts and activists in Ufology, all asking in one single voice that the Brazilian Government stop its policy of secrecy over UFOs. It is time to disclose what is known about the subject, as well as the complexity of UFO sightings and encounters these objects. For decades, civilian researchers in Brazil have struggled without resources and with enormous difficulties for Ufology to be officially recognized, and now we offer your Government our contribution for the analysis and investigation of the UFO phenomenon, and respective collaboration in disclosing the results to the entire Brazilian society.
